Think Pink
Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes from the vineyards surrounding the winery, this bright sweet pink colour is worked by the rural method, stopping fermentation at 7% alcohol.
The Ribera del Duero DO is located in a strip of the Duero river basin, 115 kilometres long and 35 kilometres wide, at the confluence of the provinces of Burgos, Segovia, Soria and Valladolid.
It covers an area of 22,319 hectares of registered vineyards and has 8,255 registered vine growers and 311 wineries.
The DO is characterised by an extreme climate, with moderate to low rainfall (400-600 mm average rainfall per year) which, together with its dry summers and long, harsh winters and marked temperature fluctuations throughout the seasons, make it part of a Mediterranean climate whose main characteristic is continentality.
The vineyards are located between 700 and 1,000 metres above sea level. Most of the vineyards in the lower areas are composed of sand, marl and limestone sediments, while the higher vineyards have a higher content of silty or clayey sands.
The Ribera del Duero Wine Route, after eleven years of existence, has consolidated its position as a national inland tourist destination, positioning itself as one of the three most visited Wine Routes in Spain.
